Prop 65

To keep our California customers informed, we are adding a label to our products with the following Proposition 65 warning.

Warning: Consuming this product can expose you to chemicals including Lead, which is known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information go to www.p65warnings.ca.gov/food.

Proposition 65 is a law specific to California aimed at ensuring public awareness, and it is not a food safety law. We do not believe our products have ever contained unsafe levels of lead. Like many heavy metals, lead naturally occurs in soil and can be absorbed by plants during growth. The presence of heavy metals can vary depending on soil composition, location, and weather patterns during the growing season. We continuously work with our suppliers to ensure we are using the cleanest ingredients available.
